Pittsburgh Computer Solutions’ roots date back to 1998 when P. Martin Stranges (Marty) began a sole proprietorship, In Home PC. In Home PC initially operated out of Marty’s residential home-office, providing computer repair services for residential and small business clients.

As business grew, Marty moved his home-based business to a commercial storefront at 3035 Washington Road in McMurray, PA. The business continued to provide services for both residential and small business clients. In Home PC remained a sole proprietorship until late 2007 when Marty incorporated as Pittsburgh Computer Solutions, Inc. (PCS).

PCS continued to expand services for local families and small business. PCS also began offering and expanding their portfolio of managed services clients. During 2011 and 2012, the business went through explosive growth. PCS joined the ranks with other “Pittsburgh’s Top 100” companies.

In 2015, Marty decided to spin-off support for residential clients. That portion of his business was gifted to a local computer repair shop. This decision enabled PCS to further expand into supporting healthcare related practices and non-profit organizations. It was about this time that PCS began specializing in HIPAA Compliance and the IT needs of practices and businesses that need to comply.

In late 2015, Marty moved PCS to a beautiful office complex at 451 Valleybrook Road in McMurray, PA. The business continues to reside and operate at this location.
